Singing Friends

    Singing Friends, will add to the musical programming on Saturday,


    Nov. 17. Their group varies, but three members, Linda Osborne,


    Tera Wilburn, and Debra Bragg, have been singing together for


    several years. The trio will be joined this year by other family


    members. Church is their usual venue, but they also enjoy singing


    at Milam Settlers Day.

Doug Arthur to Perform at Milam Settlers Day

Doug Arthur, local singer with the Sabine River

 

Bottom Boys, will be performing on Saturday during the

 

Milam Settlers Day weekend festival. Playing acoustic

 

electric guitar, Doug sings country oldies, adding

 

to a great entertainment lineup.

Charles DeLaney, East Texas Entertainer

Charles DeLaney grew up in East Texas, then worked in Houston

 

as a vocalist and band leader for over twenty-five years. After

 

singing, playing trombone and bass with a number of different

 

groups, Mr. DeLaney formed his own band, The Charles DeLaney

 

Big Band. Charles DeLaney will be singing on Saturday at

 

Milam Settlers Day.

McGraw Family

The McGraw Family will take the stage to do some old-time picking and fiddling with a bit

 

of bluegrass and gospel mixed in. Local folk musician, Terry McGraw, will be joined by

 

his grandson, Reece, and granddaughter, MaryAnne Welsh. Reece is the son of

 

John McGraw of Hemphill and Vickey Cuevas of Tenaha. MaryAnne is the daughter of

 

Jewelya and Will Welsh of Hemphill.  This family trio is sure to delight the Settlers Day

 

audience.

MILAM SETTLERS DAY 20TH YEAR CELEBRATION

This 2-day event on Nov. 16-17 promises plenty of fun for the entire family.
