The Pineywoods Pick’rs, a group of dulcimer-enthusiasts, was formed in 2009. While the dulcimer is the major instrument of the group, other instruments used in their performances include: the guitar, bass, autoharp, harmonica, recorder, and picking-stick. The Pick’rs perform old-time Appalachian folk music which originated many years ago in Scotland and England. This ensemble of mostly retirees plays at local venues, including area festivals. Look for them on the grounds near Nethery's Antiques.
